Toyota Advanced Driving
Toyota is all about safety. The introduction of advanced driving lessons further attests to this fact. Toyota Advanced Driving (TAD) aims to enhance your safety on the road.
This is achieved in the course by simulating events you're likely to encounter on the road on a day-to-day basis and how to deal with them.
TAD courses on offer are Introductory 4x4, Advanced 4x4, Defensive Driving, Onroad/Offroad, High Performance, Dynamic handling and Hijack Prevention.
The TAD course also makes use of something called a Skid Monster, which is a South African-first. This is a simulator that allows the training staff to drive with learners in a controlled situation which makes use of a set of castering wheels that are capable of rotating 360 degrees.
The Skid Monster is bolted in place of removed rear tyres. The castering system can be turned on and off at the flick of the instructor's switch, turning a well-controlled family car into a swinging mess due to loss of traction. you can imagine the various lessons that can be learnt from these simulated situations.
You can contact TAD on (011) 467 4040 or filling in a form on the Toyota SA website.

I need to send my son on one of these courses. My Corolla

RE: Course in Durban
Hi flaker,
Thank goodness that your son is okay. Sending him to an advanced driving course is a sound decision. Please contact (011) 467 4040 as they can give you all the details you need.
Main thing
Driving in traffic is more than just knowing how to testking 642-566 operate the mechanisms which control the vehicle; it requires knowing how to apply the rules of the road (which govern safe and efficient sharing with other users). An effective driver also has an intuitive understanding of the basics of vehicle handling.
Distractions can compromise a testking SY0-101 driver's mental skills. One study on the subject of mobile phones and driving safety concluded that, after controlling for driving difficulty and time on task, drivers talking on a phone exhibited greater impairment than drivers who were testking HP0-J14 suffering from alcohol intoxication.
